Key Pose

1 comment:

  1. Hey Sasha, this is good! I like the character design and the colour combination...however this isn't Key Poses, as they are too unexpressive...these are just poses, the last one is a "Key" Pose as it's a main Pose that tells the audience about the "Story" with his body language, however the others are just more like "in-betweens" keys, as they "continue" the character movement from arms to raising to hips and are not individual poses that are "Key" to the story, perhaps I am wrong and I mean this in a constructive way not negative, I just thought I'd let you know so you can fix them up a bit before you have to work more at them for the assessment, I'd suggest just creating more of a character "expression" with the body language in the "Make" character pose, so if you want the character to have a solitary stance to slump his shoulders more and place his arms further down etc, to make the pose have a more "extreme" or "expressive" pose to visually show that it's the word "Make" with just his body language posing, and the "Your" is just a bit too simmilar to the "Move" pose, so I'd simply suggest to change up the legs and arm movement, perhaps he could be pointing or have a big arm extension pointing toward the other antagonist character with his feet, tail and so forth posed outward in an expressive stance. If you like the pose for "Your" though you could simply change up the shoulders and the flexed stiffness in the arm and hands with them anticipating and the tail upright in an anticipation defensive pose and the torso could change for the posture and the face more angry etc. These are just my lame stupid attempts at useful feedback though and you are very welcome to tell me the same as your Max character pose today, that is very expressive with an extra letter in his swear word, and just complete it the way it looks, it's very good drawings etc! Also very good Max posing and Animation! :)
